no one commented on this song yet? this is probably the best song of their new album. the name of the song is ironic though, with sanguine meaning cheerfull and optimistic while the song is so gloomy. i love the way the male and female vocals interact sad that vibeke left, i doubt they will find a worthy replacement |

leave it to tuomas to deliver another amazing song. what i am afraid of is that the same thing will happen to them as what happened to theatre of tragedy. They were the frontrunners in metal music but they decided to ditch liv and change their style still expecting to have the same success. Don’t get me wrong, they are still a good band and nell is a good singer (just like Anette is) but they lost their uniqueness and with that they lost their fame and success. By ditching tarja, they ditched the one thing that made them unique. Tarja is rated nr 19 on the list of best female rock/metal vocalist ever. None of the band members rate on the best rock/metal mucisian list. For the first time in a very long time I can admit that I prefer within temptation over nightwish. Maybe this might change, it is just that I was so disappointed when I heard the new singer. I honestly was expecting someone like vibeke stene, someone that could match tarja’s singing abilities and surpass them. What I got was someone that sings just like avril lavigne…which sucks. Now the song itself; What I noticed is that the lyrics are less symbolic than usual. it is pretty self explanatory. |

what i know of them is totally different jmb2440. The history that I know is that coti and andy where skateboarding one day, but it started raining and out of boredom they decided to form a band. Coti on guitar and andy singing and playing bass. later they got those 2 guitarists you are probably talking about; Raffaele Zagaria and Claudio Leo, so andy could concentrate on singing and coti could play bass. They later got cristina (worked in a bar where she met coti before joining lacuna) They had the name ethereal, but due to copyright infringements, they had to change it to lacuna coil(empty spiral). Only reason they kicked those guys out was because they wanted to go a different musical direction. Like falling…..with no heavy riffs…..pretty acoustical….the way the original band wanted it. That is the actual reason they remade that song……so they could play it the way they wanted(falling again) I have no clue where you are coming with this huge conspiracy of yours and it really doesn’t make any sense. if you want us to believe you theory jmb2440, at least try to make it sound believable. i must say, you have a pretty cute imagination though.......lol |
