I'm pretty sure the title is a reference to House of Leaves. I know Anthony and the band are fans of the book since they have a song with the same title. Throughout the letters in the appendix of the book, Johnny Truant's mom refers to him as her "bambino dell'oro" or "golden baby" if i translated correctly. It kind of makes sense if you tie it into the idea that Saosin is the "golden baby" that Anthony could never be with, just as Johnny is the "golden baby" that his mother couldn't be with. |
