I think it is more in the perspective of Navidson, or even both Will and Johnny. The spectral beings reference in the song ties in with the nightmares that Johnny has and the creature that's supposedly in the labyrinth that scares Navidson and his party. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Will or someone else knock on the one of the labyrinth walls and doesn't Karen or someone else hear the beating in the house? That ties in with the muffle beating reference. Like I said, it's been a while since I read the book, so forgive me for inaccuracies if there are any. |
