"My memory is cruel I'm queen of attention-to-details Defending intentions if he fails" - i interpret this part as she remembers a lot of the things that made her happy when they were together. she remembers all the little things (details). and when he does something wrong, she still defends him. even if it actually is wrong. (defending intentions if he fails) "I tell myself All the words he surely meant to say" - she keeps telling herself the things he should have said, but he didnt. the things in her head that she thinks he felt, but he probably didn't. everything else i think is self-explanatory. but those were parts on how i interpreted them, and sadly relate to :( |
