This song is about how one person in the relationship seems to be more committed to a relationship (The guy). He's deathly in love with his girl, and some how they got in a huge fight and he's going through a huge phase of depression because he's "lost with out her" (This song could also be talking about the blink break up, both Mark and Tom trying to take revenge on one another by making to "battling" bands). In doing so, he kills himself; And we'll wake up in vacant rooms (he's dead in or around a hotel room, vacant meaning no sign of life or she "wakes up" when she realizes that her boy friend killed himself) Pull you close to my aching skin (his girl friend realized how much he loved her, and hugs his dead body) Broken glass on the porcelain (in anger he broke glass, or jumped out the window and fell to his death) Is this what you imagined?
