| I wrote on here a little over a year ago. I knew then that this one boy was my konstantine and always would be, since i believe we all have one at some point in our lives. I had a relationship since then and a few boys have come and gone that for some reason i just couldnt ever stay or be happy with. I made a few mistakes and i grew up. This summer my konstantine came back to me, at 1 in the morning through my window. Even though we had grown apart and walked down compeltely different paths, for once i was happy. I knew thats exactly where i was supposed to be and that feeling inside me was amazing. Somehow he was back into my life like a shooting star, just like the one we both wished on that warm summer morning. Im not sure what else can top that, except that im gonig to see him tonight :) | |

i love this song... it reminds me of this boy. we used to be really close...in words to all you something corporate fans, he was my konstantine. But we fell apart for different reasons. So now, months later, im going out with one of his best friends. im not sure if i wanted to get back at him..or well his friend is a lot different, but hes a great guy really. we kept it a secret for a while, but eventually he found out i was dating his good friend...it came out by some other person idk. and well i dont like that he knows...cause in a way i still feel for him. he wrote to me: "It's okay to be angry and never let go It only gets harder the more that you know When you get lonely if no one's around You know that I'll catch you when you're falling down We came together but you left alone And I know how it feels to walk out on your own Maybe someday I will see you again And you'll look me in my eyes and call me your friend" ill never forget the feeling i felt, all i wanted was these lyrics to come true, it was always my wish. and i think it still is. |

Love this song, i've been there. I'm not going to tell the story, its long and makes me angry. But i love: "you know i really don't look forward to seeing you again soon. You look like a photograph of yourself taken from far far away i won't know what to do i won't know what to say except fuck you." So true, thats exactly how it is going to be, and i hope he knows that. |

I think I understand what he is trying to get across and personally i love this song. Of course he loves this girl and i believe he knows he needs to move on, but doesn't want to. Whenever he thinks of this girl that has changed his life, he knows that any "new star" just wouldn't be the same. So he is moving "at the slowest of speeds," [sort of lingering] to see if either one of them will try to rebuild what they have recently lost. Hoping that one of them will. But everytime he thinks of her leaving, he knows it wasn't as he had thought it was. Now, he is going in circles trying to make sence of what happened to them together, "finding himself" In the end he needs someone to tell him its over, so if she doesn't want to talk, "then this isn't love." And he accepts that. Yet he will always think of her. |

Piece by piece this guy is falling apart because he fell for who he thinks he loves, a simple story about a boy and girl. He cannot bring himself to believe that he will not be with this girl anymore. To much has he fallen for this girl to take anything back. Things that should have been shared were kept from eachother, and nothing can erase what they each felt. Willing to say it is over, he is, but actually being their relationship is over? He has not yet excepted that, always holding on to the small thread of hope. A boy came into my life early this school year, just as quick as he left. At the time i would have never guessed we could ever end up the way we are today. With the school year almost at an end, my heart aches. This song makes me want to cry, because i feel him whenever I listen to it. But all the same, it is hard to tell exactly how this song makes me feel, i do know it defiantly kills to hear it. We both made mistakes, ones that we tried to forgive, but no matter what words are said, there was no conclusion. Yet i know we both think of each other. For reasons, (which i wish did not exist), i know and have accepted that this boy and me can never be together again. Things could simply never be the same between the two of us, no matter how much i wish i could turn back the clocks. I know specifically the changes that i would make. Of course reality is cruel and i believe we said our goodbyes to each other tuesday night. Mistakes are a part of life though, people come and people go. But remember, it is the ones you love that are always in your heart. So Konstantine, no matter how much the song makes me want to cry, it is absoilutly gorgeous. "Did you know i missed you?" How much i would love to say that to this boy, this boy who has taken my heart and has not quite given it back. So to you, a boy that i will always have a place in my heart for and know i will never forget, i miss you. |

Summer love is the stronget kind of love that can be found and thounder is the one thing during summer that can compare to this love. Stong, gives you little warning, and most importantly you can't see it. But you can feel it. Along with the great feeling of being in love, it often comes to the end. I think this song is beautiful. It is talking to everyone out there who has at some point in life, feared something, or someone. The song is writing about how a person has presented themselves, like an artist would a canvas, and are like a painting hiding their true self. And now this person must be true, to everyone around them. Yet the person that is hiding, doesn't believe they are ready. So the song is singing about the person being beautiful on the outside and that there is only one person (or so they think) that notices any flaw in this person hiding. |

| I have been through a lot and this song spills out everything that i have felt for some time. So when i heard this a while ago, i really enjoyed it. Basically i am in love with the line, "We all look like we feel" Not only because they are supposedly drunk at a some party, but i think it has a deeper meaning. And i believe the line was meant to be interpreted however it felt in your shoes. | |
