this song is so powerful...I saw him in concert as well when he told us he wrote the song about Hurricane Katrina. I've been down to volunteer in the area and just seeing all of the people who are still living in trailers and the destruction that still covers the area...I can just picture people clinging to each other as the storm blows away everything they own. |

This song is so awesome! I think it's about how we can get so far away from where we want to be, and get involved with things that lead us astray, and then how we get back on track. I know Daughtry is a Christian and I think this song has spiritual meaning too, about how God is so powerful and is able to bring him back to life.... "could have been the death of me, but then you breathed your breath in me"...
