this song is very confusing to me, but i kinda have a different idea about what it might mean. i think the song is about the way the world is today, especially the conflict in the Middle East. i think the phrase "please dismantle all these phantom limbs" could mean nuclear weapons. to me, it sounds like a desperate attempt to get the world to listen, because everythings going to hell, so to speak. what im tryin to say is maybe TMV are asking people to stop all the violence, because things aren't exactly as we think they are, and also maybe to continue nuclear disarmament. (being that we, or any other country with nukes, can fire such weapons to hit virtually anywhere on the earth, the are, in a way, "phantom limbs", but that's just my interpretation) |

i dunno, i think i agree with AutumnInAshes. I think this song has to do with the Apocalypse, in the Book of Revelations cuz the end of the world is caused by a "chorus of angels". It's funny though, cuz this is actually the song that drew me to HTD! |
