I don't believe this song is about someone dying. Nothing in there gives us the slightest clue to drawing a "death" conclusion. TrojanGrind also read my mind. That was the saddest part of the song to me. I cried as soon as I heard it. I can relate. 100%.

Linkin Park, being my favorite band of all time, and me being their super fan..I have to say..WTF HAPPENED. WHY. Why did you make this horrible album. Seriously, I don't enjoy ANY song, except for the mainstream one right now "what I've done" I didn't even bother to buy their cd, I let my friend buy it because I was a little skeptical once I heard "What I've done" They sounded different. Then there's this song on the album, it's so horrible I forgot the title, but it's like "Hold my hand up high" or something along those lines...wth is that. Since when did they become so mushy? I want the raw feeling I got from Meteora and Hybrid Theory. Reanimation was okay, so was Live in Texas. But this album was a disappointment to me, including the lyrics. They were always deep. But this? This is upsetting.

Meaning? Do I even NEED to explain? Lol, this song says it all. Two words: Phone sex. Or Booty call. I don't know who the hell even has phone sex at 5 am. People take showers for work at that time. So yeah, I'd say Booty Call.

Maynard's voice was incredibly sexy in a creepy way in this song. I love him better in this song than most of his songs in Tool. I first heard it from Underworld Evolution soundtrack. Loved the way it sounded. I read the lyrics, I think he could have capture the feeling of betrayal a little better than the common way. EVERYONE says "I told you so" and "next time I wont be there to save you" a little baby-ish, don't you think? Rephrase is better next time.

I was completely shocked when I heard this song, they were able to capture all anxiety and feelings of failure and damnation. He embraced death with open arms, but not foolishly. He describes what made him want to do it, unlike other suicidal cases. He had something to back it up. Although it's somewhat dark, these lyrics are beautiful and many people can relate. I can never get tired of this song.

Are you kidding? This song is one of my favorite from Incubus, including the other love song, I wish you were here & I miss you. This song is simply sweet. I became engrossed in Incubus once I heard this song from them. I actually love all their songs, and that's unsual for me to say when it comes to a band. I don't like simple lyrics, I like lyrics that make me think. These are somewhat simple, but they hold so much emotion. And I actually had to think if it was in a sexual manner or innocent. 5 stars from me.
