This song is about the oral tradition passed down through generations, over hundreds of thousands of years. Each generation, some improved the knowledge, some lost the knowledge, but collectively as a species we increased to the point where knowledge is spread at a rate approaching real time. Among his tribe speaks of the knowledge of how to survive, how to build tools, sails, catch the fish. He then teaches his son this information, and that son will increase his knowledge, and teach his son, and on and on...
