Whenever he says "Shut the door" I believe it's a double entendre meant to sound like "Je t'adore," or I love you in French.
Also, the condom idea makes sense, but I always thought of it as if the girlfriend is an angel when she chooses to be, but she takes off her halo in bed (the general consensus is cheating). When he says he wants to borrow the halo, he wants to use it to make him look like an angel, almost like making puppy-dog eyes, to get her to forgive him for cheating on her. That's my take on it. |
