| a cracking song - i go with the obvious "walking down the corridor of life" meaning - what really comes accross is the fear of what's behind any one door - the fear to choose life as such. I always think of the monster/groan noise at the start of "You and Whose Army" (following) as the monster lurking at the bottom of the trapdoor... scary song for the incurable antithapists amongst us - the lukewarm. | |
