Metallica has only had 4 bassists, and none of them were chosen under the basis" of being better" than the current Ron McGovney left because of Dave Mustaine pouring beer on his bass guitar. Cliff Burton died( R.I.P.) Jason Newtsed quit Robert Trujillo stills plays for Metallica As for the best bassist of all time, Cliff isn't BUT HES PRETTY DAMN HIGH ON MY LIST. I would have to say Geezer Butler.But Cliff is still my fav bassist and my fav Metallica member of all time( 2nd being Kirk ) |
