...looking back on wild life. Time keeps moving and memories get further away, things get fuzzy and the past is surreal.
If you're lucky you will still feel incandescent emotions and passions that break and move you. If you let it pain can make you numb, so you must fight. Years can rob you of that spark, they make questions arise.
But...
If you're lucky you'll hang on to your intrigue and desire, excitement will still be felt and you'll be safe in a great growing love. |

this song makes me smile, but its also bittersweet because it reminds me of all those feelings from new experiences that happened in high school/jr high. eventually you almost want it back |

i cried the first time i heard it in my car. i spaced out in sheer admiration for the beauty of it! The lyrics and the piano chords are a perfect match. It's so simple and cute but absolutely powerful.
Magnificent. |

yeah, I feel as if he's being very strong willed when he says "I don't think about you," it's extremely obvious that he does not only think about her, but basically worship her, and he meant it to appear that way. To me it sort of seems like hes joking or being a little sarcastic, but I don't know if those are the right words because he's sadly in love and hopeless in trying to rid his mind of her. The song is absolutely beautiful, so full of passion and emotion and details. What woman doesn't want a song of that stature written about her? |

so sweet, the music is awesome. it seems hes explaining how hes been everywhere, chasing something only to find out "it was here all along" and love can kill but also create life and the spiritual struggle seems never ending |

this is one of my favorite songs on the suicide handbook. to me its about trying to get over a former lover and maybe dabbing in drugs to cope ( letting the dirt and the cold and the rain come in) and feelings of sadness that he let his guard down, and let everything get to him, and hes got a long way to go before things work out and look up |
