i think in the beginning of the song when he says"with blood shot eyes I watch you sleeping" he's talking about how he can't sleep because of what he's done, which he illustrates later with "your tears don't fall, they crash around me". After fucking up in a recent relationship of mine, i didn't feel too much like sleeping. "The warmth I feel beside me is slowly fading", he might be referring to the fact that she's leaving him. and "would she hear me/would she hold me" only drive that point home, he's REALLY fucked up this time. I tend to agree with what other folks here have said about "Your tears don't fall, they crash around me"... it is a living hell to see and hear your loved one cry. there's nothing like it and what the hell is "They're guilty too, come home." all about? that makes no sense at all. i think those lyrics r messed up a bit |

| originally thought that this song had something to do with the guy dealing with his girl being gone (and not taking it too well). but then, i haven't ever been to one of their concerts to hear them say anything about killing their gf. i suppose that the surface meaning is about killing ur gf, but i like the song too much to think that it's about that, even though it might be. meh. all in all, i lean towards what i first said. most, if not all, of it is symbolic. almost like what every you every me said. | |
