I actualy realy related to this song probably cuz of the opening lyrics: 'I tried to help but I failed To solve the problems so much Of good intentions' Its unbelieveble how much problems todays youth struggle through from cutting themselves 2 suicide intensions. I related to this song cuz of a girl that always had this fake smile round ppl but the sadest eyes when alone and i couldn't help to try and help. after months of hurting myself in trying 2 figure out how 2 be there 4 her, i had enough. thats where the rest of the song comes in: 'I want my wasted hours back And I want my head to clear And I have this bad taste in my mouth From late nights and bad films ' and i can go on and on but i wil end with the chorus: 'Get Up! Recover! Cause she'll never dance again' I have 2 get up and recover because i know that theres no chance 4 anything between us anymore. 4 sum reason girls find it an insult when u want 2 help... |

U now this isn't the 1st song I've heard of Maiden, but its sure was the 1st that touch me and "introduced" me to Maiden. After that been said, I did some research on most of Maidens' songs and u wouldn't believe the amount of research maiden puts into the lyrics of each song. The fact is that the Brave New World album was writen for the book of the same title. The thing is that the book was writen in 1930, and it was a book my mother had to do on university in Philosophy (suggesting the brillance of the book)... P.S. Just like any piece of art it has a main message, but knowing that each person is unique, it doesn't stop u from shaping it and making it ur own, in fact that is what ur supposed to do (like BDWND), thats why u get things like critics... |
