Here they are. By the way, from the lyrics, it sounds like it was written by some loner badass type of person. They couldn't fit the song any more perfectly, lol Unseen, I strike the finishing blow I've survived even this era Beneath a illusory sky I can hardly remember what I was afraid of Secretly watching over the town I step about carelessly Setting fires everywhere What was the name of that town, anyway? Even if I'm responsible for all that grief, it's fine I don't need your sympathy Wherever I am, whoever I'm with I just want to be alone The shadow of a shadow stretches out Filling the lonely days Even though the world is tired of it I'll still scream at them when I feel like it! Not watching carefully, I've lost focus But it's all right I feel like I'm naked Though the future I fled from is unhappy I want to wake up Even if I'm responsible for all that grief, it's fine I don't need your sympathy Wherever I am, whoever I'm with I just want to be alone |

I think it's "While I'm all well with a wise wordsmith--" Anyway, I heard there's a better version that just uses A-G. A friend of mine said the beat was a lot better, but I can't seem to find it. |

Ah, a great love song. I like the relaxed feel to it. Seems like something you'd play on the beach. The English lyrics are: Ask anyone about that girl, they say "she's notorious" Wearing flashy episodes on You walk with rumors and walk away from friends You're all alone, but I think you're cool I have always been attracted to you I don't care what they say about you I want to kiss and hold you tight I want to peek into her heart If I only could find my way through between the curtains at night And sneak into her dreams quietly I want to be the wind and watch over her by her side Will she laugh and say "It's alright"? |

| Against my best efforts, I was unable to find a translation for this song. I love the rhythm of it, but I'm curious as hell as to what "HIBISCUS VEGETARIAN FIGHT" could have to do with anything, lol. | |

The video for it is pretty good if you ever get a chance to see it. Matches the song perfectly. As for the song's meaning, I think it may be about a person who just awoke from a dream in the middle of the night about someone he loves, but can't reveal for some reason. Being behind a mask, and looking into a mirror not being able to see himself might be symbolic of something, too. That rude joke On that smart-ass TV show Torments me again tonight I can't laugh at all On a hand-me-down bed On the veranda My pet falls asleep To the lullaby I'm creating The night is always a cruel friend It sneaks up on you and covers your eyes And shows you a dream That you can't tell anyone about Please Please, me The world invited by The midnight radio Raised me to be strong I'm not afraid of anything I'm peering through a mask At a mirror that shows nothing And even though I'm cold and frozen By the rain they send pouring down I know I can make it And even if I can't I'll survive without realizing it Just like that I was walking even though I was half asleep Please Please, me The night is always a cruel friend It sneaks up on you and covers your eyes And shows you a dream That you can't tell anyone about Please Please, me We're always vaguely blended 'I'm here!' you said, raising your hand It was unbelievable I could see you Please Please, me |

I thought it was "But I'm afraid it is time to say good bye" he emphasizes every other syllable like a poem. a-FRAID-it-IS-time-TO-say-GOOD-bye |

| I love every time this song kicks into the chorus. As for exactly what they mean by the lyrics, I can't say. This certainly isn't one of their songs with an obvious message. | |
| The Pillows – The Third Eye Lyrics | 18 years ago |

By far, the best Pillows song I've ever heard. Always tops out on my lists, anyway... For those wondering, the English lyrics are: Blue, after the rain Wet sun, the usual giddiness I don't have a thing The palms of my hands sting I remember the fever With that eye I saw the heavy sky turn inside out for a moment Like there was gonna be no tomorrow The never-ending illusion snatched everything away Returning once more to take me away A shape-shifting monster The muse has fallen A dried-up dream, a voiceless generation I dove to the bottom of the ocean to see what was there And found a huge bubble to hide in The mediocre coelecanth was having fun But couldn't say he was really satisfied The never-ending illusion snatched everything away Returning once more to take me away A shape-shifting monster The empty seats are always waiting for us The third eye knows where The door to a dazzling world has opened And once again it has begun The never-ending illusion snatched everything away Returning once more to take me away A shape-shifting monster |

| You missed the lyrics. They're actually saying "Yes, more light" again and again. They never actually SAY those are the lyrics, but The Pillows have put out T-shirts with the My Foot album that have "Yes, More Light" written on them. | |
