was just listening to this...a lovely song. to me, (very generally) the song's about not taking things for granted, and also the passing of time. "Everyday I have sunshine, thrown into my eyes / Everyday I'll have sunshine, burned into my eyes" I really like this line, and the subtle change on the second occassion it is sung. its like trying to grasp and value every moment when the "structured time" of everyday life can easily make everything blur into one and see us just drifting along in our everyday lives... |
