i cant believe this hasnt been commented. the lyrics are flat out. girl and boy are dating, they seem to be perfect for eachother. they grew up. the girl isnt so sure about the relationship anymore. he just wants to know what she wants. he's willing to cut it off if thats what she wants, he doesnt want to live a beautiful lie. he's all for letting go. |

this is all metaphorical, so you can relate to this cactus. your life is strong, full of good and happines, the traditional stuff. but your roots your foundations are 'breaking up' .you can deal with it for now, but eventually its going to wear you out. your company has 'betrayed you' but you could get through this life with your friends, but now theyre gone. its easy to interpret, its just all metaphors |
