Okay so...this song is open to interpretation...BUT it is a love song for his girlfriend BIanca. BIanca is one of the members of the band COCOROSIe. HOwever, i feel like in this song he is in a dream state wandering through santa maria de la feira, apparently a city in portugal. All he can do is think of her every hour of every day. So he dreams about Bianca (but we don't know this until the end of the song when he mentions that he finally found her)and he can't sleep, and he plays hence the ladidadida...so anyway it's a new day and he is looking for some dude named inaniel, whom he begs and pleads for him to help him (devendra) because he can no longer sleep. He is lost, looking, calling for her, because he loves her. So finally in the valley he finds a hidden river and drowns. He remembers that it was cold but he was warm, he was about to die. BUT FINALLY he finds bianca, his angelic dove. p.s i love love this song and am extremely jealous of this Bianca character. oh and indeed it is in a disneyworld commercial. |
