regina has so many meanings in her songs, it's actually amazing.
everyone's touched on some good subjects, but one thing no one seemed to notice is the relation between "pound of flesh" and "ezra pound".
maybe regina is saying love your enemy, with the "take a pound, take two", but at the same time she's saying, maybe, defend yourself. take a pound of flesh from your enemy. |

it doesn't talk about not judging others, because everyone does that. it says maybe you should realize that you're not perfect either.
this song isn't targetting people who make money. making money is a good thing. spending it needlessly and complaining about things that really shouldn't be complained about isn't. |

this song is terrible. the verse is more than forgettable, the lyrics are less than stellar, and the one catchy part, the chorus, is a stolen melody.
just another talentless wannabe punk band. they'll be forgotten in a couple of months. |

it seems like, the entire song is just building, growing, speeding up. the little squeals are foreshadowings of the amazing synthesizer solo. the solo itself makes me want to have a seizure. it's just amazing.
the lyrics themselves don't mean much to me. they sound good though.:) i love this song. |
