Wow. This is more than incredible. His first version of this song was no doubt about him and his lover, in what seemed to be a hopeless relationship. Everyone said it wouldn't last, and he said "they can burn in hell," promised they'd prove them all wrong. The song ends with the repeating, "They can burn in hell" And now this new version has to added verse. Telling a story of people coming into the scene and taking her and all they had away, leaving him with nothing. It seemed like he did something to lose her.. But it wasn't fair, he didn't deserve to lose her completely like he did. And this version ends with the repeating, "forgive me now." I like this version better, though.. Its sad.. Seeing the comparison between the two. These are my thoughts at least. I'd love to hear anyone elses. |

i think this song is about that feeling i get at 3 in the morning driving around with my friends, with all the windows down, blasting music, driving to no where. the feeling that we're allowed where ever, when ever. and if anyone wants to say we can't, well hell, we'll just find someplace else to go. everyones gotten together for a specific purpose, like going to a party, or a show, or out to someones house, and it's over, but no one really wants to go home. time means nothing. everyone else in the world is leaving the world for their sleep, but they're missing some of the most magical moments, where you can feel so lonely, but then again so united with your friends and so alive. i love the line "One final final round," because i feel like he's saying, okay this is actually the final round, when everyone's been saying "this is the last one!" but not really meaning it, because if it actually is that'd mean they have to go home :) i dunno, but that's what i get from it. this song really describes exactly the feeling i get when i'm in that situation. even the way it sounds, completely compliments the emotions. "we're all right where we're supposed to be" :) |

i think it's "fake in love with her" as well. i got the lyrics from watching videos of him playing live. but listening to the new song on his myspace, i think you're right. uhg, suggestion from me to you? listen to the song when he plays it live, acoustic, from youtube videos because this fueledbyramen/decay dance thing is NOT flying well with me it sounds so... haha fueledbyramen. which i'm not a fan of but hey, i know a lot of people are whatever, i still really love the guys and hope they come around again soon |
