i believe these lyrics are off at a few points, here are the actual lyrics which i believe to be correct. On a cold winter morning, in a time before the light In flames of death's eternal reign we ride towards the fight When the darkness has fallen down and the times are tough all right The sound of evil laughter falls around the world tonight Fighting high, fighting on for the steel Through the wastelands evermore The scattered souls will feel the hell bodies wasted on the shores On the blackest plains in hell's domain We watch them as they go In fire and pain now once again we know So now we fly ever free We're free before the thunderstorm On towards the wilderness our quest carries on Far beyond the sundown, far beyond the moonlight Deep inside our hearts and all our souls [Chorus] So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through the fire and the flames we carry on As the red day is dawning And the lightning cracks the sky We'll raise our hands to the heavens above With resentment in their eyes Running back from the mid-morning light With a burning in my heart We're banished from a time in a fallen land To a life beyond the stars In your darkest dreams see to believe Our destiny this time And endlessly we'll all be free tonight And on the wings of a dream So far beyond reality All alone in desperation Now the time has come Lost inside you'll never find Lost within my own mind Day after day this misery must go on [Chorus] Now here we stand with their blood on our hands We fought so hard now can we understand I'll break the seal of this curse if I possibly can For freedom of every man [Chorus] sorry if its hard to read |

"It's the image of someone praying to god, only to be fucked over in the end. I felt it was a pretty brave move to throw in that metaphor but it's something which I agree with fully and I love the way it was written."~Boag Or its the image of putting yourself before God and being accepted by his greatness. I will interpret it how i wish. |

I like LP. I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to an extent. People who come in here making trash-talking political completely ruin a good, clean discussion. This is not a place to argue pointlessly or yell at people. Back to the subject at hand. I plan on serving my country in the armed forces. To all those U.S. citizens who criticize Bush, imagine exactly how hard his job is. You can watch the news and say you would have done something else, but you can't see into the future, so you can never even remotely begin to predict what will happen next. I like the style of this song, but I do not care for the message that they are conveying. My government is not evil. My country is not evil. Rich people are not evil. "When the rich wage war, It is the poor who die." I do not think this is true. I am not poor, but I plan on serving for one of the world's greatest nations. I believe it is my duty to give back to the people of my country, even if they do not respect that. Read my comment or ignore it. I do not care what you think of me or my opinions. I care about what I think and that is the only thing that really matters. |
