I adore this song. I've never really deeply analyzed it's meaning but when I think about it, it's pretty simple. It feels like it's about frustration or depression, a disconnection with everything else. Unable to make sense of what goes on around you, confusion. But at the same time a sense of apathy or defiance. Someone trying their best to find their own path. At least, it's how it seems to me. |

To me, this feels like a song about how we've become too absorbed in technology. "We find ourselves in pictures on the net. Blinded by science.." It also feels to be about acknowledgement, and yes perhaps fame or reputation. Knowing, being seen, being heard, understanding. Rising above the noise. |
