I disagree with the interpretation of the song being about a girl. It seems much more like its a song about God and spirituality in general. And I can't believe no one caught the incredibly direct reference to Simon & Garfunkel's "Flowers Never Bend with the Rainfall." This furthers my doubt about the girl. Not positive what the reference means but it seems like an existentialist issue as well as a reference to depression? |
