This song is great. One of their best. I believe he's talking about being frustrated in a relationship and how he's spinning his wheels and wants to get out or mend it but can't. Really is maddening. Dryden nails emotions perfectly. Love this guy, this band. |

Ripping on AAf when you are a Green Day fan? Lame. Dryden is the greatest singer/lyricist of OUR generation. Billy Joe Armstrong sounds british, but isn't. Explain that. Also, you can't go very deep into a Green Day song. S.S. Recognize is awesome. One of the greatest songs to hear live. AAF is light-years beyond Green Day, artistically speaking. Green Day is one of those crappy bands that exist to make music for brain-dead retards who have no taste in music. You prove that. |

Mark is telling the story of a Father, who does not live with his family (separated/divorced?) raping his daughter and then deciding to kill her in the woods when he realizes if he can't have her no one can. Only afterward does he have some remorse when he asks what he has done.
Mark is an awesome singer/writer and Chimaira are an amazing group. |
