COOL SONG!! I've always thought this was just about her in a convertible with her boyfriend and the top down listening to a song at full blast with the wind in her hair. He's "winking diamonds" at her which "gets her every time". They're caught on CCTV because she's fantasizing that they're in a police chase which adds to the adrenaline theme. This is one of my favorites of hers. |

This song is stalker-ish. I'm scared after hearing this wondering whether or not a girl will see me one day and just start randomly stalking me! (not saying that out of vanity, just out of a genuine feeling of paranoia this song evoked in me lol). I can't really relate because I've never stalked anyone, but I can see through this song how the thought process of a stalker might proceed and how they think it's totally innocent ("Why'd you have to be so cute?"...as if it's their fault she's stalking them lol). Interesting song. |

This song is about someone who's overdosed or is passing out for one reason or another and she's saying she'll be there for them. It continues the theme she started in Clear the Area. If you listen to the background it sounds like she's in traffic driving frantically and the very last two "closing in" sound like announcements made over a hospital PA system...that's just my two cents. |

I agree more with the drug or ego addiction theory that was mentioned. For all we know "Party's over" at the beginning could just mean "the fun has ended". What I can't figure out is at the beginning what the whooshing sound means. It reminded me of a desert (easy to get lost in; like the person she's speaking to is lost somehow), or like a high tower. It's always windy at the top of a high building and that goes along with "you find your way back down". |
