Gang of Youths – Let Me Down Easy Lyrics 7 years ago
Ultimately, I think this song encourages us not to be afraid to try to express our feelings and fall in love. If you get rejected, it's okay, grieve for the loss of potential love, be "heartsick", but do it with grace and don't be outraged. It doesn't have to be awkward and you can still have fun while the moment lasts.

The Killers – Neon Tiger Lyrics 16 years ago
Neon Tiger is my favourite song from the Killers. It's nice to see how people interpret this song differently, delving into something much less apparent than the lyrics of the song themselves.

I'd like to take this song quite literally, however at least for the first three stanzas. The first stanza tells me of how tigers are captured from their native habitat, Assam (India) and Saigon (city in Vietnam) and taken into places like Las Vegas (poster town of scorn and ritz) for the purpose of entertainment (bring you the 'wilder' side of gold and glitz).

The chorus is in support of freeing these animals, be it relocating them to a more natural habitat, where they don't have to have "a lot on their minds", where they can just live like the instinct-based animals that they are, without having to do tricks and magic shows like they do in Vegas.

The tiger becomes the new main attraction of the show (Took to the spotlight like a diamond ring) and is bringing them money, or at least the stakeholders are hoping that it will bring them more money after possibly some losses after bad decisions, like with all business-related endeavours (Came from the woodwork with the hopes they might Redeem themselves from poor decisions to win big).
