I agree with both mrmatches1 and vimnik. your interpretations could be wholly correct except for one thing - the title. If it is meant to be romantic and meant to make you jealous, why does he title it a "fake" empire. eventually we become disillusioned and realize that the reality is relationships like these are fake and cannot go on forever. and that is the sad part. |

the song meaning is pretty self explanatory. it is about someone who feels they cannot be with another person but still loves them and is confident that they are the only person for that someone. BUT does anyone know the real actual inspiration of this song? I would love to know the real story behind it... |
