| Nicki Minaj – Come On A Cone Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This song really speaks to me about the fragility of the human condition. | |

| Taking Back Sunday – Everything Must Go Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's not about the fact that the woman in question is a Christian. It's about how she's a Christian for the wrong reasons. She goes against her own Christian beliefs (tangled tongue) but tries to use them against him or to justify her own actions as someone else said. | |

Uh, I'm pretty sure it's just about being a rockstar even though he's a rapper. Kthxbai. |

| Chiodos – Two Birds Stoned At Once Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The energy of this song pwnz. | |
| The Ropes – I Don't Like To Get Dirty Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| When I first heard this song, I was totally shocked, haha. Such a sweet voice with such vulgarity. I love the dichotomy. | |

Maybe he's losing his passion for performance. "I'll only let you down" "You," as in the crowd. "You can say that, oh, I'm just feeling sorry for myself" is like where people lose faith in the band and just say they're being all emo and whatnot. And in the second verse when he talks about all eyes on him, it seems like the crowd in love with his ego and his intention (music and whatnot). "How long could you hang onto a word?" How long could you listen to a song and live by it? The second verse really pushed me in the direction that he's talking about the relationship between him, the music, and the audience. Just a different spin on things to think about. |

He could be using "I'll light you on fire" in the figurative sense, unless it's a play on words, and he means it both ways. He'd be seducing her only to use it against her and BAM--she's dead. Yay. |

+1 to jchill. This album seems like a contrast/complement to the previous album. I sort of noticed that when i first opened it. The color theme of AWTEW was white, and the color theme of BPB seems to be black. Even the CDs are exactly the same style, just black and white. The last one gave off more of a holding on vibe, and this one gives off more of a letting go vibe. But, I'd have to say this is one of the better songs on the album. Lots of raw energy. It's great. |

| Chiodos – I Didn't Say I Was Powerful, I Said I Was A Wizard Lyrics | 18 years ago |

No one's commented on this yet? It's like, my favorite song on the album haha. This song seems like it skips topics to me though. I can't quite put my finger on what it's about. I want to say it's about everyone close to him deserting him and turning their backs on him, but I could be wrong. But, I do love the line "his thoughts were bursting from his brain," and how Craig sings it. Makes me think of someone's head literally exploding. Skull chunks flying everywhere, you know? xD |

"I'll stop stabbing when you stop screaming" Is actually the breakdown from "There's No Penguins in Alaska." It's not part of this song xD |

| Taking Back Sunday – A Decade Under The Influence Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| "My worst brings out the best in you" is always a line I never get. Like, I half understand it, but it still makes little sense to me. Maybe I'll get it when it happens to me or something. But still, I love everything about this song. I get so happy when they play it live. | |
| Thursday – Counting 5-4-3-2-1 Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Well, I guess I'm late on this whole bullshit debate. Frankly, I don't care. Basically, I think this song is talking about someone who lives in a society that begins to trap them. Small towns tend to be like that, where you get stuck into a rough pattern and you can't escape that. I don't know where Thursday comes from, or what, but to me it sounds like the writer was feeling a bit trapped where he was at. He could even be in a personal ditch in life, where all of his friends are too busy in success to help him out. Summary: It's wanting to escape, but being locked down without any help at all. At least, that's what it means to me. |

| The showdown theory makes sense. I was kind of getting the God vs Satan theme in Teeth The Size of Piano Keys. Not entirely sure though, it could have multiple meanings. | |
| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – It's Pretty Hard To Beat The King Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I love how the guitars sound like spiraling down after he says "Your gun's firing blanks. No way out." | |
| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – It Sounded Like An Accident Lyrics | 18 years ago |

The clean lyrics in the middle threw me for a loop xD Is that Aaron singing? |

| Drop Dead, Gorgeous – They'll Never Get Me (Word With You) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Well, I'm going to be captain obvious here, it is about a murder, but yeah, I feel the need to delve further into it. I think he's at an inner struggle in this song and feels like he should stop, but he can't. And someone is trying to save him, probably a Christian, implied by the crooked cross. He's trying to tell them to stay away because he knows he's dangerous. But in the end, he just breaks down anyway. |

Kind of sounds like Satan falling from grace, hm? Not gonna force any religion down your throats, but if you think about it, it kind of fits. Being wrong, graceless, and sick because he was assuming he was also on the same level. Graceless. No living creature as foul as I. Well.. Satan's pretty nasty, eh? Soul dropping. Falling from heaven. The illumination part could be about him wanting to be part of it again, but the more darker things get, the more easy he gets along because he's sinking into evil. May not be the actual meaning, but hey, it's fun to play around with different ideas. >_> I'm just a little sick of every single song on the face of the planet being about love/broken love (exaggeration, I know). |
