I agree ePilgramage, it's a brilliant song I think it pretty much speaks for itself though, a guy not wanting to leave London for somewhere else (probably a job move judging from "given them an excuse") and eventually deciding he doesn't wanna leave and jumping off the train as the doors close. Lovely. |

This song means so much to me and my girlfriend, other songs might inspire some kind of sexual feeling in us, but this is a much deeper experience. Before we started going out together, we used to talk on MSN, a lot of the time it would be about this album, and our mutual love for it. This song embodied exactly how we both felt (even if neither of us knew that the other felt it too). Now it means so much to hear it and know that we did both feel that, and that it is so much better now that we're together. |

It's much less about the lyrics of the song, but the feeling the music creates for me, as well as my girlfriend. The deep, Prince-like bass, the breathy lyrics, everything amounts to this trendous sexual feeling, well it certainly does for Cat and I anyway :P |

I agree with everyone else's comments, but for me and my girlfriend, this song has a very different meaning actually. It's more based on emotions we felt when we heard it, but it has a much more sensual feeling for us when we listen to it, maybe it's the deep bass, or the slow, steady rhythm, I don't know. But we like it. |

Me and my girlfriend were listening to this (nothing dirty about that lol) and thought to ourselves that the mental guitar solo at the end, getting more and more frantic, and higher and higher could signify reaching climax... Anyone else get that feeling or are we reading into it too much? |
