I haven't listened to this song for months until today. Because they played it at my best friends funeral. When I listened to it, I finally could get what it was saying, and even though I miss him a lot, there's nothing I can do. You can't undo your mistakes without making more. I don't really think it's as much about a drug addiction as it is just seeing someone you love fall to pieces. It could be about drugs, I agree with you CobCharles. When someone loses faith in everything, you can't just say "believe in this". He can't help her. |

It isn't a nessicarly bad thing, it's just more fun to be with people who do things." I think it sorta relates to that. People get all dressed up, go somewhere and are just sorta on display. They don't do anything, so they feel empty. They could be gorgous, but be nothing inside. I think that's why the refrain says 'I wish you'd take a walk in my shoes for a start/You might think it's easy being me/You just stand still, look pretty.' They want to be something, but they've been a Beauty for so long, they can't change to anything, not even a Talker.
