I think this song is about a girl that he needs. She completes hima dn without he he is nothing (like teh chorus says). i feel the same way about a girl in my life and this song totally relates to my situation. This is my interpretation. Maybe it's a flashback of the patient if it's absolutely necessary to relate every song in this to teh Patient. Maybe losing this girl contributed to his deteriorating health. She caused his cancer? Go! To unexplain the unforgivable drain all the blood, and give the kids a show. By street like this dark night, a seance down below, there's things that I have done, you never... should ever know! ***he starts off by telling her that he doesn't have a perfect past. He's done despicable (unforgivable) things that he wished she never knew about him (things that i have done you never should ever know)*** And without you is how I disappear and live my life alone forever now. And without you is how I disappear and live my life alone forever now. ***in teh chorus he's begging her to be with him because he can't be without her. He loses touch with society and slinks off into being abosolutely nothing (without you is how i disappear) She's not the type of girl that he can get over either. He needs her to make him whole. Noone else can fill teh void (and live my life alone forever now)*** Who walks among the famous living dead, drowns all the boys and girls inside your bed. And if you could talk to me, tell me if it's so, that all the good girls go to heaven. Well heaven knows ***Once again he starts off by explaining himself. He used to be amongs bad people (the famous living dead) You might say that famous living dead=infamous. And he explains again that he's done bad things (drowns boys and girls) maybe bad things relating to sex like adultery or rape (inside your bed). He asks her if it's true that pure, saint-like girls liek her (good girls) only go out with pure, saint like guys as well (go to heaven) Heaven being pure guys. Then in the last line (Well heaven knows) he calls her Heaven now referring to her purity...he says that she knows...(without her is how he disappears)[moves into the chorus...I love how this part fits so nicely together]*** That without you is how I disappear and live my life alone forever now. And without you is how I disappear and live my life alone forever now. ***He's telling her that she knows he can't live without her*** Can you hear me cry out to you, words I thought I'd choke on, figure out. I'm really not so with you anymore; I'm just a ghost. so I can't hurt you anymore, so I can't hurt you anymore! ***She still doesn't choose to be with him. First he checks to see if he's still even alive (can you hear me cry out to you) He never thought he'd even be able to keep breathing without her love (words i thought i'd choke on) Even though he's alive he's still disappeared...not to teh extent that he's dead buy he's nothing without her (I'm just a ghost) He realizes taht he can't affect her anymore...then he REALLY realizes that he can't affect her anymore (note how the second time he says "so i can't hurt you anymore" his voice gets violent and this anger flows over into teh following verse)*** You wanna see how far down I can sink, let me go, FUCK!! So you can, well now so you can I'm so far away from you, Well now so you can ***He's pissed at her because he thinks she's sadistic for not loving him when it's obvious that he can't be a complete human being without her (you wanna see how far down i can sink) Note that this is a statement, not a question. He is so blinded by anger that he wishes she would just leave him forever. He doesn't care whether or not she's around (let me go). She lets him go. It hurts a lot more than he thought it could (FUCK!!) lol...He still thinks she is sadistic and thinks this is what she wanted...to push him so far away from her that she can see how much it would hurt him (well now so you can [see me in pain])*** And without you is how I disappear, and without you is how I disappear Forever, Forever now! ***As he's disappearing in agony without her, he screams what he's been saying all along...famous last words?*** |
