This is my favorite song ever next to I Caught Fire by The Used. The Used is my favorite band. Bert is my favorite singer. And I know this song is about Bert and Gerard. just like Pretty Handsome Awkward by The Used is about them. But the difference about those songs is that in Disenchanted. Gerard is showing he cares for Bert. But Bert doesnt care for Gerard. But its the exact opposite in Pretty Handsome Awkward, its sounds like Bert cares for Gerard, and Gerard doesnt care for Bert. I just wish they were still friends. But i will say this. I love The Used alot more than I love McR. But I agree with MCR that Bert really needs to settle down with the drinking and the drugs, cause just look at him. He's getting bigger, and he's loosing his hair and hes getting sick alot now. I dont want that to happen to him. somthing just isnt right. The Used and My Chemical Romance (especially Gerard and Bert) need to become friends again. |

If I didnt already know that this song was about Bert and Quinn. I would have thought it was about a guy who was just broken up with his girlfriend and is having tons of different thoughts go through his head. He loved them so much, but then again maybe he doesnt need her, but its just to hard to figure out and he goes crazy and doesnt know what to do. One of my favorites. |

I really say this song changed my life, I think it was the 5th Used song I had ever heard. and at the time I thought "you know, I guess there ok" Well I was also going threw a very rough time will alot of stuff, well I heard this, Im just like oh my god, I just felt the depresion leave my body. Well we all know what the song is about. But we dont know who, yet again I believe that this is about Bert's Ex girlfriend, because when they made this song, It was right around the time she died. I honestly think this is about his ex girlfriend dying. How maybe she tried comiting Suicide. And she's now hilusinating on the way to the Hospital, because she's so near her death, she begins seeing things. and when Bert say "take off my mask and leave the lies to the liars" I think that means that she pictures Bert as the EMT or w/e. and he takes off the Mask (like a doctors mask) and says "stop telling all the lies, because you didnt always lie to me, You used to be so honest, and I love you because of it"
Then "could you look me in the face" I think it means "Look into my eyes see how heartbroken they look and try to tell me that you didnt try to kill yourself and our baby."

I think this whole song has different meanings to it about Bert and Gerard.
First off the "you bleed just like you puke while running a mile" I think thats really a compare and contrast between Him and Gerard, cuz if you think about it. "you bleed" it simbalizes how Gerard used to bleed alot at concerts, during the "Bullets, Sweet Revenge" days. Then "just you puke while runnin a mile" Bert is talking about himself there, how he used to puke during shows...I know thats kinda dumb but yeah, then
"You look Pretty low, very handsome awkward"
He see's Gerard not being the same ever since they stoped being friends. But Bert still finds Gee "Handsome" but its very "awkward" to him to still feel that way.
And then of corse "Hey are you ok? you look pretty low, very handsome awkward"
I think Bert's asking "Gerard? Are you okay that were not the pals we used to be? You've looked pretty upset ever since that day."

This may be a little odd. But if anyone watched Berth, Bert talked about how his ex girlfriend was pregnant and died, and the baby died because of it. I think thats what this song is about.
It actually kinda gives you hints to it. Like, "Liar Liar pants on fire and the pills go down and get you higher" it refers to her like taking pills while being pregnant.
then "and the mother hates him" maybe that has to do with her not even caring if her baby dies
