i think this song is about how the average kids in high school played pranks on the jocks and they are at their 10 year reunioun saying "do you remember us? we wrapped your corvette in cellephane." After that, they say how the "party" (reunion) is dying and they want to play a show hence when they say "guitar me" (give me a guitar) and after that, everyone forgets about how gay highschool was and now is celebrating the band.

hmmm this is a weird fucking song but here it goes: I think it's talking about a whore or a woman thats obsessed with sex even though she is married.
"Sugar id come over but its kinda hard to hump you in front of your children. Theyre horrific."--this being about the last guy that has come around to have sex with her, but looking at her children, gets discouraged, either because they are not his own, or they are so different (like from other fathers).
"your husband should know your hex, your sex complex that cursed the fruits of our passion."---this being about how her husband should know that her being such a whore, has "cursed the fruits of her passion" or made bastard babies of other fathers or cursed them in the way of them growing up to be just like her.
"Sugar, I'd come over but your coffee tastes like the clap."---back to the guy that wants to have sex with her; he would like to come over, but her "coffee" (her vagina) "tastes like the clap" (or is diseased with gonheria) from her sleeping with everyone.
Obviously this song tittle kinda says it all. But im not sure of the butter and babies or the melted beaks reference...anyone?? |

These opinions are all pretty correct. In most all blood brothers songs there are more than one meaning/reference. If this is indeed about Johnny's grandmother, then it sounds like they were keeping her alive but it was acually a worse alternitive. "shes gonna make it out ok, but shes shaking like a revelution!" This sounds like they were keeping her alive but shes shaking (arthritus, seizures). So they are telling the doctor to "cut the fucking chord because you cant put the life back in this hospital ward" meaning to kill her because she'll never be the same again. A double meaning could entail also that you can't bring back the dead, or at least it's unethical. Also about the "jerking on the wires, shes animated again" could mean that patients like johnny's grandmother (vegetables,coma patients) are just puppets and the doctors are the only ones keeping them alive with breathing machines or medication. I dont know if thats right. All I can say is that the blood brothers write some deep fucked up shit...i love it |
