This song is one of the deepest most beautiful songs by Avril lavigne and is defiantly my favorite off UMS. This song is almost too deep to put into words... It is a prophetic song capturing a moment that has not happened yet. -Avril lavigne is reaching out to a guy who she has never met but knows is out there... -The guy is the hero of the Story. He is the guy who endures through everything Avril goes through yet he can never be with her. He is her "true" sole mate. The one who she has an eternal connection with. After avril has fallen (come undone) he rescues her and brings her back to a place where she finds her soul again. -this guy is someone who is most likely a future star or someone going through a simular journey as her. she wants to know who he is and what role she plays in the story. she wants to know everything about him. she is dying to hear anything from him. -the guy is most likely from her hometown or somewhere near by. and he could be a christian who restores her faith in Jesus again. the song paints a picture of that moment when Avril meets this guy face to face after years of being in denile and lost. the moment is so overwhelming all she can do is cry becasue thats when realizes everything and puts all the fallen pieces of the puzzle together:) ps. also note that you have to understand where avrils life was at at the time she wrote this song. it was four years ago. |
