Does anyone else think that at 1:22 and 3:01when Ryan sings "Throwing a line out to sea" he kind of sounds like Anthony Raneri from Bayside? Specifically the word sea.
Anyways, I absolutely love this song. Ryan's part is my favorite, but the whole thing is great. Probably my favorite lyrical/musical piece off the new album. =] |

[Obviously I like this song, look at my username. hah] This is definitely my favorite song from the Black Parade, and possibly my favorite MCR song of all tiime. It's definitely up there. Gerard just puts so much emotion into singing it. |

I think you guys are all right. I think where it says, "When a friend tries to stab you right in the face" that could mean when a friend betrays you, they do it in front of you, only you don't notice. So instead of it coming out of nowhere, it kind of built up in front of you, with out you wanting to realize it.
This was my old best friend's favorite song, and oddly enough, she betrayed me. And to make it even weirder, that was her favorite line in the song... kind of foreshadowed that, but I don't think she meant to.
