I heard this song yesterday, and I couldn't stop listening to it. This is a beautiful song...you can't disagree. Every time Thom sings: I'm not living I'm just killing time Your tiny hands Your crazy kidding smile I can't help but cry =P. My boyfriend tells me that he misses my tiny hands and kidding smile, so this song means a lot for me. Whenever the narrator isn't with his love he's just killing time, but that's not very inconspicuous. Love this song! |

I agree, this song is very sad. The bicycle-ring-sound at the beginning does make me feel that there are two young friends. Along with the lines "Strange how you never become the person you see when you're young". The first few lines portray the sense of secrutiy children have (" Tied - tied to a time When we knew that the sun would shine And you were all smiles"). Great song. |

Gah..I love this song..all of the songs on this album are amazing. The chick he's talking about must have done what she does to other guys: ("I'm left behind Like all the others Some fall for you It doesn't make much difference if they do") gotten them to become fond of her and then moved on to her next victim. |
