the speaker doesn't think the girl feels the same way as he does. he has said all he could and now it's up to her to decide but he doesn't want her to feel obligated to be with him. he will deal with the consequences but he need the answer to move on. they have had there ups and downs but he knows that she can be the one for him and vice-versa. he keeps trying to find out how she feels and he's waiting for an answer but she isn't giving him an answer. he feels as if he needs to know right now because he can't wait any longer. he is as committed as he was when their relationship started but if she wants it all to end, he will deal with it and won't try to influence the decision she made. he reassures her that he really needs her to be with him and that he knows that she's the one. ***personally, this song reminds me of all my ups and downs with my girl and i can relate to the speaker. it's a bit emotional and obsessive but one my favorite songs by omnisoul. |
