I want to sing this to my parents so bad. Exactly seven months ago from today, I came out to them and it was Sunday, April 22nd around 9:50pm. My friend's mum told them I was cutting, so they got me out of bed and talked to me. I had to tell them everything. My mum, I know, she secretly hopes I'll be straight again and my father is never here for me (he lives 10 hours away). I wish they would just accept me for the wonderful person I am, b/c everyone else has. Take it from a person who has lived in this song: If you just believe in yourself, it's all that matters. I have never read any parts of the stories, but my older siblings explain everything to me. Okay, this is just what I think so no hating. This song to me, without the whole story and stuff, sounds like it's about two soldiers in a war.
