i actually just found out about her today on afterellen.com, and i absolutely love this song. she's got a great voice and the lyrics are very poetic. and yes, she is bisexual.
to me this song is about her being in relationships where her partner is trying to change her. she tries to change herself and then by the second-to-last stanza (or however you call it, the final verse before the final chorus) she finally starts finding herself. sexuality is a part of it, but it's definitely not the whole focus of the song.
i really like her description of her relationship with the woman, though. |

Wow, I love these lyrics. I think it's about a hollow modern life (pornography, plastic surgery, half-hearted suicide attempts, anorexia, and still survivng). |

I love this song. I'm thinking it's either about how fans will always start to believe the person they admire is greater than human or about how the homophobes belive that gays are so different than them when really everyone is just human. Or maybe it's about both? |
