Someone in the relationship has been blatently honest and said that they need a little time apart and basically the others gone off the hook and said fine i'm leaving and you won't be able to reach me more to the point they've left without a proper goodbye... over reacting of course and in the end the person who requested space has found someone new and is happy in their "vienna" (being a romantic place) and the other person is jealous... |

it seems to me to be what was said in the first comment... the singer is speaking out about a friend that is getting married for the wrong reasons and he can see that she has a feeling that after a long period of being single possibly the twenty years that is breaking her down, she is taking this as her only chance to be with someone. He is praying that this guy isn't going to break her heart, but eventually he can see that she will end up alone and he just hopes she can see that jumping at the first oppourtunity insures her to fall short of happiness. He really can't see a way to help her nuut just hope she realises before its too late. |

especially from recent events, this song really touches base. I had a relationship with a friend end rather badly and dramatically in the last couple of weeks but this song really comes through that one half of the relationship can see that it is one sided to the others immature behaviour of making everything about them. "taking turns holding this world" this says to me that basically one always listens to the problems of the other and can never offload there own problems and possibly can see the causes for the others problems being to their own fualt or created from not listening. There is a split between them and it seems that one of them in this song may be older than the other and sees the others friends for who they really are and realises they can't be trusted and the fact that this person doesn't really care who they know nor what they think. Even though as this person looking on is trying to be mature and move on and grow up themselves. As the mature person trys to remove themself from the relationship the other person refuses to budge and possibly refuses to let go or take any fualt. and basically this split would have happened alot ealrier if the other had ever bothered to listened. basically it;s over and if you can't see it you need to grow up and you may understand... |
