Well, later I will going to post my impresions, but for all yours, now I will translate you some words, but only the words in the other language, mapudungun, you must need use a translate page or something for the spanish, or wait my vacations, XD Ruca is the house of the mapuche people, you can translate ruca to house, but I don't know if that is the best... Mapu means floor, dirt, something like that, obviusly that have a more nationalist, I don't know if that word is fine in that case, significate, but I can't explain in english... Che means people. Mapuche means something like people of the earth, mmm, people of that land... eh, that is the term for mapu (see before that), XD Well, that is... that is... that is all, friends (mascala Porky, :P) |

About the name, Mari Chi Weu, that is a phrase in mapudungun, the language of the mapuches, the native inhabitants of the central and south Chile, I can talk more about that etnie, but this don't have matter with that page, ;). Well, Mari Chi Weu can be translate to Ten times we will win, or Diez veces venceremos in spanish. This song is an obviusley critic to the EEUU, that is the look of that country outside him, a country with an obvius expansionist idea, like the europeans of S.XIX, with a stupid philosophy of the money, a stupid system called capitalism, live for win money, die for the same thing, eat in McDonals or something and discrimination, xenophopic ideas, no tolerance for another religions like the Islam, and obviusly, money, money and more money and zero importance of the "virtudes"* and the ecology. Sorry for the offensive words, but really that is the apparent reality, no that what you see in the TV, wars and conflicts of today are all for that way to think. *I don't know how translate this to english. |
