well i really dont think this is right, but an ex of mine explains it to me as his life is at the moment. "kiss the way we were goodbye" -the guy is forgetting about the girl self explanitory "first we live but then we die" -relationship is alive then dead "so they whisper secrets to you that I know you hear all the thoughts that rush inside you never seem so clear" -everyone (pretty people) is telling the girl that the guy is still in love with her and he knows it hes just confused about her thoughts because she doesnt show emotion about it "but our guards are down, defenseless and our walls have cracked" -the couple has been through so much they are completely vulnerable hearts on the table etc. "pretty people standing by we blame we pretend and we try and act surprised as we watch the world end" -the couple is pretending like nothing is going on they try to act surprised when someone (pretty people) claims there are still feelings between them the world ending is everything with the girl completely done and over with |
