I think its about peer pressure etc. "Looking for a way out / I put my foot out of line / Really like to break out / I feel so confined" The first verse is Darby saying how hard it is to break out and do something new when you feel intimidated by your friends. No idea about the chorus. "Saw you on a dark road / Brought myself along / Got a sense of conflict / But i know what's wrong" Practically means "I saw you on a road and thought I'd walk with you. I felt a little bit of tension in the air, but I know whats wrong with you." Don't know what it means though. "I know that kinda feeling / So i built my place up high / But you'll never find me kneeling / Cause i'm too occupied" Darby is saying that he knows he is an idol, but he's also saying that he will never idolize someone. |

Its about people that are fake. Like "You looked okay before" and "You - you talk about just every band / But the names you drop are second hand / I've heard it all before" Its just saying that he wants nothing to do with people that just tag along and that conform to their friends, not being their own person. |
