I think Vivica's man/family/etc treat her like shit and make her feel empty. This song is like Jamie & Paul are talking directly to us. Like they're looking straight fucking at us, talking. For me & the rest of my original crew (all of us oldschool, true Juggalos) it's like Jamie & Paul really appreciate us being there thru everything, down for anything, that they realize there are TRUE Juggalos out there who really feel them. This song makes me choke up & forget anything else in the world for a minute.
(ps... I'm not saying that oldschool Juggalos are the only "real" Juggalos, I just haven't met/seen many newer ones in the last few years that realized that "Juggalo" is more like a lifestyle than a fanclub. You guys know what I mean?) |

To me, this song is them talking to the people who lost faith (or less specifically, just don't care anymore) because of how shitty their lives are. They're saying basically that yeah life is shitty, and yeah they feel that same way that they are broken too. I love that they mention "but everytime Twiztid's on / I'm resurrected". Its cool that being on stage & doing their thing makes them feel alive. |

Just because I don't like something, that doesn't mean I'm going to go making blind assumptions about it. LOL Maybe you should pick up the book Behind The Paint to get a feel of what they're all about. It'd be a good start before you make yourself sound stupid.
Also, I've been Down since early middleschool. I'm one of the few oldschool Juggalos still around. But guess what, I grew up, work in the corporate world, getting married next year, & own my own home. I'm still Down because I can really feel them, I can relate, & no band out there can touch there sincerety for the topics they talk about. Ok, there are 2 main things people need to realize about ICP... 1)They are good people spreading a good meaning, very unconventionally. 2)They are AMAZING storytellers.
Its all entertainment with a large taste of telling the world what biggots & assholes & disgusting people we all are.
This song is a great example of both; the point of the story (that they think biggots/richies/etc deserve an ill-fate just like they give others) is made into a great unqiue story/concept. |
