o sorry its through you're golden locks not from you're golden locks... I miss read the album cover. This song is sad as it makes me think that he has been in a long relationship and it hasn't quite sunk in yet that it's ended, its just like a dream. He feels a bit lost without his love, with the noise of the train and the crowds of people confusing him and he doesnt know what happens then he wakes up 'and you were gone' He regrets not telling her how much she meant. :( |

awww this is one of the nicest songs on 'a book like this'. i love the music as well as the lyrics. these lyrics are close, but not quite right. My first interpretation of the song was that a good friend had passed away and she's wanting to hold onto the memories, wishing she had more and that they had not left her "So close your eyes, but don't dream too deep And please pass me some memories" but she is finally coming to terms with it knowing that her friend will still be there living an eternal life and watching over her. Another way of looking at it is she may have realized the importance of a good friend and promises never to take them for granted and is overwhelmed by the fact that she has someone for life. |

awww what a sweet song... I listen to it everyday. I personally dont think it needs to be seen as about sex, but it probably is, The guy loves a girl, and he is so in love that he still gets nervous with her every time, and if people think what they are doing is wrong, he doesn't care, his just lying there being amazed by her and forgetting the rest of the world. |
