This is pretty basic!... She's basiccally reminding us that jesus died for us and that we can't ignore it, or forget and to live for his purpose justice and mercy, and to never give up on him but at the same time, no ones perfect and theres no way to be perfect we're all human.. so shes saying that as well... Lacey Mosley is a truely awesome beautiful person whole to whole, i've met her 3 times and She is so dedicated and nice... her lyrics are all deeper then you think she deserves alot more credit and There all about GOD!!!!! |

This song means alot more than what you think I'll break it down by what i think... He wears his heart safety-pinned to his backpack (He's easily hurt and easy to get to) His backpack is all that he knows (his heart is all that he has known) Shot down by strangers (Very self concious of what others think...like press and othr strangers) whose glances can cripple the heart and devour the soul (It transforms his thoughts and who he really is) All alone he turns to stone ( his thoughts keep him isolated) While holding his breath half to death ( so scared of the other people and what they think) Terrified of what’s inside (terrified of what he thinks of himself) To save his life He crawls like a worm from a bird (refrence to how he survives) Crawls like a worm from a bird Out of his mind the way pushes him, whispering Must have been out of his mind Midday delusions of pushing this out of his head Make him out of his mind (everyones judging him saying he's crazy or w.e and he's heard it so long he's starting to believe it) All he knows If he can’t relieve it, it grows (his anger and past builds up to where he cant take it all anymore you'll never know what happens) And so it goes He crawls like a worm, crawls like a worm from a bird |
