this song is so poetic, and so dark. It's songs like this that make me worship MCR. Gerard's writitng is amazing. to me it means (in short): fuck you, get out of my life, get away from the people around me you whore. the lines :and you can't keep my brother and you won't fuck my friends makes it obv. she's a whore. and the title is like, 2 totally different characters who shouldn't gel together in one relationship and it wont work like when people fight over mirrors backstage before a concert or a play or a musical etc, so one of them has to fuck off, and Gerard is definately not going anywhere. and it's such a diva thing to say... |

does "from being oh so hollow" mean, hollow as a person and the girl feels hollow because the drink is her only friend and Travis is the only one to comfort her and be with her. or does it just mean one more drink and she'll throw up, thus being "hollow" because there's nothing left in her? or that she'll be hollow because there's no life left in her...? i dunno... |

this is an amazing cover. and i love this song. Both versions because the meaning is about not waiting and starting TODAY (hence the title lol) and i procrastinate a LOT. patrick's voice does this song so much justice. can't blame a band who got big for wanting to cover one of the bands that got them into music can you. if i was in music i'd definately be covering Fall out boy, mcr, aretha franklin... pssshhh i'd do a whole album of covers just because i could! don't rip on fall out boy. people love their music and they're pretty nice guys as far as i can see. if you don't like them you shouldn't be commenting on their songs (apologies for the clutter i just wanted to say that.) |
