This song is about Chester having a big contrast in his life between getting divorced and then re-married. He said, "For a while I couldn't be completely happy with the new life I was starting and I couldn't end the last one." That is what this sing is about. It’s about Chester getting over his old life and being happy with his new life. Allot of people can related to him that is why I think this song is such a great song. |

| Chester said that when he was to sing this song it just didn't sound right so they had Mike sing it because when he did, what ever he was apologizing for, he was very serious about. I don't think anyone knows what he is apologizing for though, other then what you can get from the lyrics. I think Techcasualty hit that part right on the head | |

| It's "Thieves and hypocrites!" If you put on headphones you can hear it really well. The "ves" in thieves is what gives it away. The way Chester pronounces "Th" sounds like "Ph" which is why I can see you all thinking it says "Face" or "Fakes." | |

This song isn't emo at all... o_O cmill216 hit it right on the nail with how I feel about this song really. LP has been stepped one by people every time they do something, like now with people and this album, but if people would just listen to the lyrics they would see that LP talks about things people don't really like to talk about. Like the lyrics in "Crawling" and other songs off of Hybrid theory and Meteora. I think they feel that most of their songs are not taken for what they mean. Also in the album for this song it says, "One of the band's goals on this record was to enjoy it. This track is one of the places that it is most evident." It says that because in the beginning of this song if sounds like some one is walking into maybe a bar or something were people have so much fun performing. I feel that this song is also saying that even thought they are stepped on for what they do they are still going to keep doing it because they love doing it and they love us (their fans) for sticking with them and actually getting what they say. |

This whole album to me is very powerful, but to me this is the most powerful song. Tear came to my eyes when I listen to this because it reminds me of people I miss and people that are still here with me now. It reminds me alot of myself... And yes, the meaning is quite straightforward like said before. |

You guys can't just hate a band because they changed. If you go to LP's web page and read about what they thought and that of every song on this album you would see they wanted a change. All of the guys have grown in age, person, and everything else. I have been a fan on LP for a long time, they are one of my favorite bands, and have listened to Hybrid theory and Meteora over and over again to the point that I wore the cds out twice over and had to by new. When I bought Minutes to Midnight and stuck it in my CD player, my reaction was just plan "wow!" I could not believe how much they have grown and changed. I love this album, along with their old ones. If you don't like it just don't listen to it and stop complaining. People and things change, its life, get use to it. To me this song is about someone stuck in themselves and they want out because they don't like who they are. This is my favorite song on the album; the clapping and key jingles perk my ears as soon as I hear them. |
